We are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic person to join our small team within our Day Opportunities service for adults with learning disabilities in Bridgnorth.

This position is 15 hours per week, worked over two days. Flexibility is essential.

Previous experience as a support worker in a social care setting is desirable but not essential, as full training and support will be provided.

We are looking for someone who:

Provide practical, emotional, and behavioural support to individuals who access our service.
Support adults with learning disabilities with personal care tasks, eating and drinking, and promoting independence.
Help individuals develop everyday skills and participate fully in activities.
Run programmed activity sessions within the centre and in the community.
Liaise with parents and carers and report directly to the Manager.
Act as a keyworker for a small group of people, maintaining accurate, up‑to‑date records and ensuring personal files are well organised.


About You:

Essential Requirements:

Driver Full UK Manual D1 on Driving license – non-negotiable

Possess strong verbal and written communication skills. ( English G.C.S.E)
Flexible and willing to adapt to new challenges and ways of working.
Has a good sense of humour and a positive attitude.
Good IT knowledge/skills/systems
Is open to trying new things and supporting a variety of activities.
