Summary

Care Assistant / Support Worker – Community Living (Full Time / Part Time & Relief)

Location: Coatbridge, Airdrie, Motherwell, Wishaw & surrounding North Lanarkshire areas (ML1–ML7)
Pay: £12.60 per hour (£24,307.66 per year)
Night Shift Rate: £13.23 per hour
Hours: Up to 37 hours per week
Contracts: Full-time, part-time, relief & weekend-only available

Capability Scotland is recruiting Community Living Assistants / Care Assistants / Support Workers to join our North Lanarkshire Care at Home & Supported Living Services.

In this role, you’ll support adults with disabilities to live independently in their own homes and communities while helping them lead fulfilling lives.

Unlike many care roles, our minimum 4-hour visits allow you to spend meaningful time with the people you support.

Please note: This role does not qualify for Skilled Worker Visa sponsorship.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Supporting people with personal care, medication and daily routines
Helping individuals stay independent and active in their communities
Assisting with meals, household tasks, appointments and social activities
Building positive, respectful relationships with the people you support
Flexible Shifts Available:

Full-time or part-time contracts
Relief and weekend-only roles
Evening and weekend shifts
Sleepover shifts available
Overtime available at enhanced rates.

What We’re Looking For:

You don’t need previous care experience – full training and support will be provided.

Good communicators who work well in a team
Essential Requirements:

Full UK driving licence
Access to a vehicle due to travel between support locations
Ability to work evenings, weekends, and sleepover shifts
