A rare opportunity has arisen for a paediatric advanced audiologist!

Inside a busy specialist audiology department an opportunity to cover a secondment for 9 months, providing specialist paediatric assessment (ABR and behavioural assessment) and (re)habilitation services for children of all ages as well as be a key team lead within the team, providing service improvement and staff mentorship.

The postholder will be expected to provide leadership in the paediatric team as well as provide a whole range of paediatric clinical work. They will also be responsible for staff under their mentorship.

An innovative, dynamic multi-tasker with an eye for detail will be the ideal candidate.

Your clinical work will be paediatric focussed but there will be the opportunity to practice in another area to maintain your skills, such as advanced adult work e.g. advanced diagnostics, vestibular, electrophysiology and/or adults with additional needs.

St George's Hospital is the tertiary hospital in Southwest London. The Department of Audiology and Audiovestibular Medicine is co-located with ENT at the main hospital and also have 3 satellite clinics. The Audiology team consists of 26 audiologists. It is a friendly, supportive team who look after their patients and each other, which is reflected in the positive feedback received from patients.
