Background of department/role

We are looking for a Facilities Manager & Housekeeping Services Coordinator to work alongside the two Facilities Officers within our small and busy team at our Medway Campus, which is part of the wider Facilities & Commercial Services Department at Canterbury Christ Church University.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, friendly, hard-working and efficient person to work at the Medway campus. This Coordinator role holds no supervisor responsibility and will need to have a flexible approach and to be able to meet with the expectations of providing a consistent, quality service to students, staff and external visitors.

How will you work?

You will be responsible for managing your own workload, under the direction of the Asst. Head of FM & HKS. The role is full time, Monday-Friday with the working pattern to be agreed with the successful candidate. Occasional weekend work supporting events may be required but sufficient notice will be given with time off in lieu.
