Summary

Culture House Sunderland is an exciting new cultural destination for the North East a place where creativity, learning and community meet under one roof. Weandrsquo;re looking for a talented and imaginative Learning andamp; Engagement Manager to shape our creative learning offer and transform how audiences of all ages experience Culture House.



About the Role

As Learning andamp; Engagement Manager, you will lead the Culture House Programme Delivery Team and oversee the development of an ambitious, inclusive learning and engagement programme. With a strong focus on schools, families and community groups, you will create opportunities for children, young people and local communities to learn, create, participate and see their own culture represented.



Working in alignment with Sunderland Cultureandrsquo;s NPO-funded programme and wider strategic goals, you will design high-quality cultural experiences, festivals and creative participation activities. Youandrsquo;ll collaborate closely with colleagues across all cultural venues, as well as with artists, cultural organisations and partners, to deliver programmes that inspire and reflect the identity of the city.



This post is exempt from the rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and therefore will be subject to a DBS check from the Disclosure and Barring Service.
