Bubbly Gems Nursery is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Nursery Manager to help shape our newly established nursery into a joyful, nurturing, and high-quality early years setting.
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursery Manager to oversee daily operations within our early childhood education centre. The ideal candidate will possess strong management and leadership skills, with a passion for working with children and ensuring a safe, nurturing environment. This role involves coordinating staff, engaging with children and their families, and maintaining high standards of childcare and educational development. The Nursery Manager will play a vital role in fostering a positive atmosphere that promotes learning, growth, and wellbeing for all children in our care.
Responsibilities
As Nursery Manager, you will:
Lead, inspire, and support a team of early years practitioners.
Oversee the day-to-day running of the nursery in line with Ofsted and EYFS standards.
Ensure the highest levels of safety, safeguarding, and learning outcomes.
Build strong partnerships with parents, staff, and the local community.
Manage budgets, occupancy, and administrative tasks efficiently.
Drive creativity and innovation in the nursery’s curriculum and daily routines.
Requirements
Passion and enthusiasm to help build and grow a start-up nursery.
A minimum of Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education/Childcare (Level 5 or 6 preferred).
At least 2 years’ experience in a leadership or management role within an early years setting.
Enhanced DBS check, valid Safeguarding Certificate, and Paediatric First Aid qualification are essential.
Sound knowledge of the EYFS, safeguarding, and Ofsted regulations.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
A genuine passion for early years education and child development.
