THE OPPORTUNITY:
As we continue to grow, we’re now recruiting a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our Engineering team. This is a developmental role and ideal for someone looking to develop a career in engineering. Full training will be given.

Your core responsibilities include:
 Learning & applying 3D CAD modelling and drawing techniques using
SolidWorks.
 Assist in managing and controlling drawings and documents.
 Support design, development, modelling and agreed testing activities on
projects and products, delivering reliability, safety and quality.
 Contribute to product research and analysis, including basic engineering
calculations and design reviews.
 Attend and contribute to peer/technical reviews and reporting sessions with
other team members, enabling accurate, timely knowledge sharing.

To be successful in this role, you’ll need to consistently demonstrate the following knowledge, skills and experience:

 A want to develop yourself and the drive to achieve development goals.
 Have or be working towards an HNC/D or equivalent qualification in a
mechanical discipline.
 Experience of CAD or other engineering design applications.
 Basic Mechanical engineering principles and knowledge
 CNC Machining, production or engineering design work experience to
complete required responsibilities.
 Working to manufacturing processes and standards.
 Working in a team environment to complete projects.
 Problem solving and improvements: – contributing ideas and improvements,
with a proactive, “can do,” attitude.
