Are you ready to make an immediate impact? Randstad Education is urgently seeking a dedicated and resilient SEN Teaching Assistant to support students with complex needs at a specialist provision in Lingfield.
Due to an immediate requirement, we are looking for someone who can hit the ground running and provide high-quality support to students with Autism (ASD), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), and Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD).
Your Key Responsibilities-
Specialized 1:1 Support: Providing tailored assistance to students with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), focusing on both academic progress and emotional regulation.

Communication Support: Utilizing alternative communication methods such as PECS, Makaton, or AAC devices to ensure every student has a voice.

Behavioral Management: Implementing proactive de-escalation techniques and following individual behavior plans to maintain a safe learning environment.

Sensory Integration: Assisting students with sensory processing needs by utilizing sensory circuits, breakout rooms, and specialist equipment.

Personal Care: Assisting with personal care and mobility requirements where necessary (training provided).

Urgent Availability: You must be available to start immediately and commit to a full-time schedule.

Relevant Experience: Previous experience working with SEN (children or adults) is highly desirable. This could include backgrounds in care, support work, or specialist schooling.

Strong Communication: The ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team including teachers, therapists, and parents.
