Summary
Key Responsibilities: - Conducting and completing detailed assessments of children and young people, focusing on neurodevelopmental conditions such as autism and ADHDincluding carrying out standardised assessments such as the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule. - Engage with children and young people in a sensitive and age-appropriate manner. - Engage with parents and carers in a caring and sensitive manner - Make reasonable adjustments to appointments where needed. - Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to interpret assessment findings and contribute to diagnostic decisions. - Providing clear and compassionate feedback to parents and carers regarding diagnostic outcomes. - Contributing to the development of individual support and intervention plans based on assessment results. - Ensuring all assessments are thorough, accurate, and that associated admin is completed within specified timeframes.
