The company have been established for several decades and have experienced a period of sustained growth over the last several years. With a 5 year business plan in place with the aim to continue this growth, the company are recruiting for a Business Development Director to join them on a permanent basis.
Summary of the role:
- This is a pivotal and strategic role for the business, in which you will be reporting directly to the MD.
- You will be responsible for a large team consisting of 3 Business Development Managers and you will also have responsibility for overseeing the Bid Function of the business, as well as the Estimating department.
- In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies for the Business Development Managers, managing client relationships, being the company representative in client meetings and at events/conferences and more.
Required Experience:
- The successful candidate will have experience ideally working for a Contractor within the Retrofit/Decarbonisation sector and you should have an indepth knowledge of Social Housing.
- You should also have experience of managing teams of Business Development Managers, bid teams and estimating teams.
