We are seeking a proactive and highly skilledEmployee Relations Managerto join our People & OD team. Working closely with the Head of Employee Relations, you will lead on complex employee relations matters, ensuring that cases are managed effectively.
You will act as a specialist advisor on a full range of ER matters including complex disciplinary, grievance, performance, absence, and workplace conflict cases.
This is a fantastic opportunity to shape ER practice, influence organisational culture, and ensure managers are skilled, confident, and supported to deal effectively with people management issues.
What You’ll Be Doing
• Providing specialist advice and guidance to managers on complex employee relations cases.
• Managing and supporting investigations, hearings and appeals.
• Providing specialist employment law and policy advice to managers at all levels.
• Designing and delivering ER-related training for managers and HR colleagues.
• Supporting the delivery of resolution-based approaches, restorative practice, and Just Culture.
• Developing ER policies, processes, and resources, and enhancing intranet guidance for managers.
• Working with divisions to identify ER trends, hotspots, and opportunities for intervention.
• Championing inclusive, fair, and values-led leadership behaviours across the Trust.
