Are you a hands-on supervisor who takes pride in turning a building into a welcoming home? We are looking for a Site Services
Supervisor to drive excellence across our student portfolio.
In this dynamic role, you’ll be the bridge between strategic management and on-the-ground action. You won't just sit behind a
desk; you’ll lead by example—mentoring your maintenance and housekeeping teams, overseeing major summer works, and managing
contractors to ensure our facilities are safe, compliant, and stylish. From project managing remedial works to building positive
relationships with our students, you will ensure every Move-in Weekend starts with a wow moment. If you are a problem-solver who
balances technical repairs with people management and data-driven reporting, we want to hear from you.

As a Site Services Supervisor, a typical day might include:

* Supervising the site maintenance and housekeeping teams across both sites to ensure that they are delivering a high level of
service and following relevant policy and procedures.
* Being out on sites completing repairs, problem solving, replacing and renewing when necessary, and ultimately delivering a high
quality maintenance service that meets all of our service standards
* Conducting people management tasks including 1-2-1’s, mentoring, coaching, communicating to management
* Working alongside the Site Services Officers and taking accountably for driving and delivering a culture of safe and complaint
practices.
* Managing contractors including procurement, on-boarding, quality management and payments.
* Supporting the teams with the maintenance and compliance of the building and building fabric, including repairs and
redecoration as required. Leading by example and always delivering high quality work.
* Overseeing the use of all IT platforms and databases to keep abreast of performance, exporting and reporting on data in an
accurate and timely manner and using it to drive improvement.
* Leading on our summer works program and ensuring things are well organised, effectively communicated to all stakeholders and
delivered to the tight timeframes.
* Maintain strong, positive relationships with students to ensure satisfaction with facilities and services, and resolve any
issues in a timely and professional manner
* Project managing remedial works throughout the year, ensuring that any necessary corrective actions or improvements are
completed on time, within budget, and to the required standards. You will be responsible for coordinating schedules, resources,
and contractors, and ensuring all works are well-managed and documented.
* Maintaining accurate records in areas such as asset and stock management.
* Working as part of the teams to help promote and welcome our people at Open Days and Move in Weekends

Some of the experience/skills we need to consider you:

* Supervisory/ management and leadership experience.
* Experience of leading a highly motivated team achieving strong outcomes.
* Able to demonstrate maintenance skills of at least intermediate level in joinery, plumbing and decorating.
* Experience of using your repair and maintenance skills in the housing/ accommodation sector
* A strong understanding of health and safety and building safety legislation and its impact on the Accommodation and Housing
Sector.
* Experience of converting health and safety and building safety legislation into operational practices.

effectively.

* You’re a positive, energized and enthusiastic person, with a real zest for helping others and providing excellent services.

* Resilience. Working in the education, support and employment sectors is a challenging but rewarding career. You’ll be helping
to bring real change to peoples’ lives.
