EYFS Teaching Assistant
Location: Bromsgrove
Contract: Full-time, long-term
Start Date: ASAP or September 2026
Paragon Education is working with a friendly and nurturing primary school in the Bromsgrove area to recruit a dedicated EYFS Teaching Assistant. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to support young learners during the early stages of their education, helping them develop confidence, curiosity and key foundational skills.
The school is looking for someone who is enthusiastic, patient and passionate about supporting children in the Early Years Foundation Stage.
Key responsibilities:
Supporting pupils within the EYFS classroom during lessons and activities
Assisting the class teacher with classroom preparation and organisation
Encouraging children’s development through play-based and structured learning
Providing one-to-one or small group support where required
Helping to create a safe, engaging and stimulating learning environment
Supporting pupils’ social, emotional and early academic development
Requirements:
Experience working with young children, ideally within an EYFS setting
A nurturing, patient and proactive approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Understanding of safeguarding and child protection responsibilities
Relevant childcare or teaching assistant qualification desirable but not essential
