Summary

We're looking for a Reinstatement Operative to join our South West Water contract team based in Barnstaple.

Location: Anchor Mill, Barnstaple

Hours: 45 hours per week

We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role

As a Reinstatement Operative, you'll play a key role in Kier's Natural Resources, Nuclear & Networks team, supporting the South West Water contract. You'll be responsible for reinstating highways and surfaces following excavation works for water mains repairs, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards while helping communities maintain their essential services.

What will you be responsible for?

As a Reinstatement Operative, you'll be working within the Natural Resources, Nuclear & Networks team, supporting them in delivering high-quality infrastructure maintenance. Your day to day will include:

-Carrying out high-quality reinstatement works including tarmac, concrete, and modular paving

-Ensuring all work meets HAUC and local authority specifications

-Operating plant and machinery safely while maintaining site safety

-Completing job documentation using tablet-based systems

-Working collaboratively with excavation teams to deliver projects on time
