Working pattern: 8am – 4pm Mon to Thurs, 8am – 3.30pm on Fridays
Salary: Pathway 5, £27,455 - £29,487 per annum (FTE £32,061 - £34,434)

Your role:
As Assistant SENDCo, you will play a key part in the day‑to‑day leadership of SEND provision for pupils at TDA Juniors. Working closely with our SENDCo, you will help to ensure that every child on our SEND register receives timely, effective and personalised support. You will assist with the Graduated Approach, contribute to the creation and review of personalised passports and learning plans, and ensure that statutory requirements are met. You will liaise with teachers, parents and a range of external professionals to ensure our learners' needs are understood, championed and met.
This role is ideal for an experienced HLTA or SEND practitioner with a strong understanding of SEND practice, excellent communication skills and the confidence to support colleagues in meeting learners’ needs. You should be someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, is highly organised, and can use initiative to keep provision running smoothly. A passion for inclusive practice and a genuine commitment to improving outcomes for children with additional needs are essential.
