Summary
We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Plymouth to assist with the appointment of a Transport & Allowances Officer, on a 3-month contract, likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.
Rate of Pay: £13.26 - £17.22 per hour
Summary:
The role supports the School Transport Team by coordinating recruitment for Passenger Assistants who help students travel safely to school. You will manage recruitment administration, liaise with candidates, organise interviews, and support applicants through the onboarding process while ensuring all documentation is completed correctly.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate recruitment for Agency and PCC Passenger Assistants.
Organise interviews and manage candidate documentation from application to onboarding.
Liaise with prospective candidates and respond to recruitment enquiries.
Support successful candidates with completing required paperwork and onboarding steps.
Upload and maintain recruitment documents and monitor candidate progress.
Qualifications:
Good computer literacy, particularly Microsoft Office.
Essentials:
Full clean UK driving licence.
Access to a vehicle to travel across Plymouth.
Strong organisational and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage recruitment tasks.
Positive can-do attitude and ability to work in a busy team environment.
