Summary

Are you a highly motivated and experienced practitioner with a creative flair for working with socially excluded families? Can you work collaboratively with colleagues and practitioners across the partnership? Can you plan and deliver a range of evidence based interventions with parents and carers? Could you support the development of family focused work that interfaces with young people’s drug or alcohol treatment? If so, then we would like to hear from you.
You will be a competent professional who is committed to promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children, young people and/or vulnerable adults at all times.
Your value base and practice will be restorative and empowering with a firm focus on improving outcomes for children, young people and their families.
You will be able to work with parents and carers to meet their children’s needs enabling them to develop ways of handling relationships and behaviour that contributes to everyday life with children and young people.
You will be able to take a think family approach to support families to build resiliency.
You will hold a level 3/4 qualification in relation to teaching/training or working with parents, previous training and an accreditation to deliver an evidenced based parenting programmes would be very advantageous.
