Summary
Connect Appointments is recruiting an experienced Assembly Operative to join an innovative, fast-growing manufacturing business based in Musselburgh.
What's on offer?
- A full-time temporary position
- Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5pm
- Paid weekly at £12.50 per hour
As an Assembly Operative, you'll be working within the production team, helping to assemble a variety of products to a high standard, ensuring quality and safety at every stage. Your duties will include:
- Using hand tools and basic power tools to assemble products
- Following build guides, work orders and standard procedures
- Meeting daily and weekly production targets
- Ensuring products meet quality and health & safety standards
- Keeping your work area clean, tidy and safe
To be successful, you'll have previous experience within a manufacturing, assembly, or production environment. Other key traits include:
- Good attention to detail and comfort with repetitive, hands-on tasks
- The ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- A solid understanding of health and safety in a factory setting
