Summary
Connect Appointments are recruiting an experienced Mechanical Assembly Operative to join our Tranent based manufacturing client.
What's on offer?
- Full-time ongoing position
- Working Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5pm
- Paid at £12.50 per hour
As a Mechanical Assembly Operative, you will be working within the production team to assemble a variety of products, ensuring they meet the quality standards expected. Your day-to-day duties will include:
- Ensuring daily and weekly production targets are met
- Using hand tools and basic power tools to assemble products
- Following build guides, work orders, and standard procedures
- Ensuring products meet quality and H&S standards at each stage
- Keeping your work area clean, tidy, and safe
- Working closely with other teams
To be successful, you'll have previous experience within a manufacturing, assembly, or production environment. Combined with the following skills, traits and experiences:
- Happy to carry out repetitive tasks while paying close attention to detail
- Able to follow both written and verbal instructions
- A strong understanding of health and safety in a factory environment
- Good with your hands and enjoy practical, hands-on work
