Operations Manager

Norwich Depot - Pinetrees Business Park, Pinetrees Road, Norwich, Norfolk, NR7 9BB

37.5 hours per week, working Monday to Friday

£42,000 - £44,000 depending on experience

We’re looking for an experienced Operations Manager to come join us, based at Norwich. We’re looking for a dynamic and experienced leader to join our team as Operations Manager. In this role, you’ll oversee large teams, drive performance to meet and exceed KPIs, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Your ability to communicate effectively, manage workloads, and lead initiatives will be key to maintaining the highest standards of service and quality. This is a fantastic opportunity to significantly impact a fast-paced, results-driven environment.

The heart of the role

  • Manage a diverse team of colleagues and influence stakeholders to achieve service and performance targets while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Ensure full compliance with all relevant regulatory and legal requirements.
  • Lead and manage depot initiatives, driving process improvements to meet financial and operational objectives.
  • Facilitate effective communication across teams and departments, fostering involvement and commitment within the depot.
  • Build and maintain strong interfaces with the broader Warehouse Team, PHOENIX supply chain, and commercial functions to support vision and value initiatives

What makes you tick

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage large teams effectively.
  • Skilled in workload management to meet and exceed targets and KPIs.
  • Experience in Lean Methodology/Six Sigma environments (preferred).
  • Familiarity with working in highly regulated industries (advantageous).
  • Capability to align team performance with business objectives and budgets.
