Balfour Beatty is seeking a dynamic Civil Quality Administrator & Easyplant Tech Data to contribute to the Net Zero Teesside (NZT) project based at our site in Redcar and Cleveland.
What you'll be doing
To improve Quality performance in terms of work records data on projects’ electronic platform: EasyPlant.
To support right first time every time, external quality certification process and to drive the “Elimination of Waste”, “Right First Time” and reduction in the “Cost of Quality” all through:
- Supporting the NZT Civil Quality function by managing EasyPlant (Project electronic platform to manage construction work records and quality-related documentation)
- Acting as EasyPlant administrator/ Champion
- Provide advice and coaching on Quality Records issues
- Uploading project documents and ensuring missing documents are uploaded and
maintaining completeness - Supporting RFI workflows linked to EasyPlant
- Maintain traceability and accurate inspection records
- Live the Balfour Beatty Values
- Ensure a relentless focus on Zero Harm
- Be enthusiastic to achieve a “Right First Time” in terms of records compliance
Who we're looking for
The following qualities/experience are essential:
- An understanding and commitment to Quality Management
- Coaching skills
- Ability to nurture strong relationships with delivery teams and project managers
- Competent user of modern office computer systems e.g. Microsoft Office
The following are desirable:
- A working knowledge of the sector in which the role is to operate
- Has an ability to gather, analyse and evaluate facts
- Pays attention to detail and the ability to see things through to completion
- Has good interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work within a multi-discipline team
- Is good at building relationships
- Can demonstrate initiative and resilience
