Personal Assistant (p/t)

Hours: 6.5 hrs per week

Days / Hours:
Days – Tues / Thurs or weekend - shifts to be discussed at interview

R.O.P: £14.00 per hr

Duties:
Personal Assistant required in the Kilmarnock area

I am an adult with high-functioning Asperger's Syndrome. I am looking for practical and social support. The practical support will include grocery shopping, meal preparation and house chores. I have a variety of interests including computers and the internet. I can drive, and enjoy walking, travelling, visiting the cinema and socialising.

Required skills and qualities include being friendly, good at communicating including use of positive body language and patience. Some basic understanding of Asperger's would be helpful.

Requirements:
The successful applicant will have to undergo a new PVG Disclosure (cost of which will be reimbursed in your first wage) and supply 2 reference contacts prior to appointment.

There is a 6-month probationary period attached to these posts with 1 weeks’ notice within that time if the post does not work out.
