We are currently recruiting for a Finishing Operative to join a specialist aerospace manufacturing team in Denham.

The Role
As part of the Finishing Team, you will play an important role in preparing and finishing components to strict aerospace quality standards.

Your responsibilities will include:

Masking and unmasking components and assemblies prior to paint spraying
Performing abrasive cleaning using shot blasting equipment (grit, glass bead, aluminium oxide)
Carrying out self-inspection and quality checks where authorised
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and job cards
Maintaining tools, equipment, and high housekeeping standards
Working safely at all times in line with Health & Safety and COSHH regulations
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who is practical, reliable, and committed to quality within a manufacturing environment.

Key requirements:

Background in manufacturing or engineering environments
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
Experience in finishing, surface preparation, masking, shot blasting, paint preparation, or similar shop-floor processes
Strong attention to detail and quality awareness
Good understanding of Health & Safety and quality standards
Experience within aerospace or precision engineering environments would be highly advantageous.
