About the Role
We are looking for compassionate and reliable Care Assistants to join our team on an ad-hoc basis at our beautiful 27-bed care home. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about supporting others and making a positive difference in residents’ daily lives.
You will be providing high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring they feel safe, comfortable, and valued.
Shift Patterns
Flexible ad-hoc shifts available including:
• 8:00am – 8:00pm
• 8:00am – 2:00pm
• 1:45pm – 8:00pm
• 7:45pm – 8:00am (Night Shift)
Key Responsibilities
• Support residents in their day-to-day living – 27 Bed
• Provide personal care, including help with toileting, washing, dressing, mealtimes, and medication
• Be a familiar and reassuring presence, helping residents feel comfortable and safe
• Offer companionship, engaging residents in conversation and activities
• Help improve residents’ wellbeing and quality of life wherever possible
Pay Rates
• £12.50 – Weekday Days
• £14.00 – Saturday Days
• £14.50 – Sunday Days
• £13.50 – Weekday Nights
• £15.50 – Weekend Nights
• Mileage
• Weekly Pay every Friday via PAYE
Requirements
• Drivers only (due to location and shift patterns)
• A caring, friendly, and reliable approach
• Previous care experience preferred but not essential
