The Role
Reporting to the CEO the Head of Corporate Support Services will provide strategic leadership across a broad portfolio, including
• Human Resources
• Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
• Learning & Development
• Payroll & Pensions
• GDPR & Information Governance
• Freedom of Information (FOI) Compliance
This is a senior leadership role with both strategic and operational influence. You will lead a team to ensure these essential services operate efficiently, compliantly, and with a continual focus on improvement and employee experience.
• Develop and deliver a people strategy, ensuring alignment with organisational business plans and values.
• Lead and modernise HR, recruitment and training functions to support workforce capability, engagement, retention and wellbeing
• Oversee timely and compliant delivery of payroll and pension services, ensuring accuracy and excellent customer care for all employees
• Provide expert advice to the Senior Management Team, Board and relevant committees on people, governance, risk and compliance matters
• Lead on key organisational projects such as workforce planning, digital transformation of HR systems, policy development and culture initiatives
• The post will be the Company’s appointed Data Protection Officer ensuring robust data protections policies, staff training and statutory compliance
• Serve as Freedom of Information (FOI) lead ensuring requests are managed effectively and deadlines and legislative requirements are adhered to.
