Summary

Job: Cover Supervisor Secondary School Classes
Salary range: £100-£120 per day
Location: Aberdare, RCT

We are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Cover Supervisors to join our team, working in Secondary schools in the Aberdare area. This is a fantastic opportunity to support the learning and development of students, while gaining valuable experience in a classroom environment.

Please note, we are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this position.

What is required:
-A UK degree
-Experience working with young people (experience in education is desirable but not essential).
-Strong classroom/people management skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students.
-A confident, adaptable, and proactive approach to work.
-A commitment to supporting students' learning and well-being.
-A valid DBS check on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).

As a Cover Supervisor, you will:

-Supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of teachers.
-Ensure a positive learning environment is maintained by managing student behaviour.
-Deliver pre-set lesson plans, ensuring students stay on task and complete the work provided.
-Provide support to students where needed and manage classroom resources.
-Collaborate with school staff to ensure the smooth running of the school day.
