Working hours: 35 hours per weekInterview Date: To be confirmedWe are a 40 bed residential care home on Skipworth Road, Coventry, for older people, some of whom have dementia and can no longer live independently. We believe that each resident should enjoy the highest possible quality of life, surrounded by love, friendship and support within a Christian environment. Our Care Assistants play a vital role in this.As Care Assistant you will provide support in assisting residents with activities of daily living as well as assist residents with personal care. You will work as part of the care staff team to ensure the residents are able to live a life that they desire, within the safety and parameters of 24-hour care.We are looking for Care Assistants who can demonstrate compassion and empathy in their approach to caring for older people. This could be either through previous roles in social care or in other roles.You will be providing personal care to residents, as well as supporting them to take part in a wide range of activities.
