Teacher of Food Technology

The Governors and Headteacher are seeking to appoint an inspirational and talented Teacher of Food Technology to join us. We welcome applications from both experienced teachers and ECT’s.
This is a great time to be joining our school as we continue to build on our significant strengths and successes. We offer a school which is welcoming with colleagues who are enthusiastic and committed to achieving the best for students.
The successful candidate will:
• be an outstanding classroom practitioner with a proven track record in raising standards
• be committed to inclusion, high expectations and positive strong relationships.
• be able to think strategically, creatively and analytically
• have humour, perspective and an ability to bring out the best in others
• support extra-curricular activities.
• teach Food Technology at Key Stage 3 and 4.
What the school offers its staff
This is a great opportunity to join our Technology curriculum team and be part of its future success. The technology team is currently made up of 5 full time staff and has a large uptake at GCSE for both Design Technology and AQA GCSE Food Technology.
If you have enthusiasm, strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching, this position provides an opportunity to make a difference and an opportunity to work collaboratively in a successful team.
