Summary
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Food Production Supervisor to oversee daily production operations in our food manufacturing facility. The successful candidate will ensure production runs efficiently, safely, and meets the highest quality and hygiene standards.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate daily food production activities.
Ensure production targets and deadlines are met.
Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and quality.
Monitor staff performance and provide guidance and training where required.
Ensure compliance with HACCP, health & safety, and company policies.
Work closely with the production manager to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
Maintain accurate production records and reports.
Manage shift schedules and allocate tasks to team members.
Requirements
Previous experience in a food manufacturing or production environment.
Experience in a supervisory or team leader role.
Good knowledge of food safety standards and HACCP procedures.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
Good organisational and problem-solving skills.
Preferred
Level 2 or Level 3 Food Safety certification.
Experience in ready meals, sauces, or chilled/frozen food production.
