Teaching Assistant at Littleton C of E Nursery & Infant School • Start Date: September 2026 (the start date may be brought forward for the right candidate)• Salary: SP3 FTE £24,330 (PRO RATA £17,263.56)• Contract: Monday to Friday 30 hours per week (Term time only) 8.30am-3pm with 30 minutes lunch break PLUS 3 INSET DAYSPart-time hours would also be considered. Salary will be dependent on hours worked.• Applications Close: Friday 27th March 2026The Governors wish to appoint a dynamic and committed Teaching Assistant to work as a member of our team. We are a small one form entry infant school with a strong sense of community and Christian vision.We are seeking to recruit a highly motivated, creative and enthusiastic individual, with a caring attitude, excellent communication skills and who works well as part of our friendly and supportive team. Experience of working with children and knowledge and understanding of the Early Years or KS1 Curriculum is essential. Candidates should be hardworking, positive and have good communication skills with adults and children. Our ideal candidate would be adaptable, creative and understand how to develop the whole child. A good level of Maths and English is essential.Previous experience and training to carry out and assess the effectiveness of learning interventions for literacy and numeracy is highly desirable. Duties include working in either EYFS or KS1 as directed by the teacher in a safe and organised manner providing a secure, healthy and stimulating environment in which children will be supported and encouraged to develop as independent and curious learners who are confident and enabled to flourish.What Ofsted says about our Good school: 'The quality of the curriculum is undoubtedly a strength of the school and underpins all aspects of learning.
