Salary: Scale 3 points 5-6 £17,742.30-£18,023.77 Pro rata actual salary
Hours: 30 hours per week, Term time only
Working Pattern: 8.30am-3.10pm daily with a 30-minute paid break
Contract type: Fixed term until 31st August 2026

The Governors, staff and children would like to appoint a reliable Teaching Assistant who wants to join our community school and be part of our great team! The post is temporary. Your role will be multi-faceted and include working with children and delivering various maths and English interventions with groups and individuals. The successful candidate will:
be able to motivate and enthuse children
be able to work effectively as part of team and be a team player
be committed to building excellent relationships with staff, children, parents and carers
have excellent behaviour management skills
have high expectations and the ability to deliver high quality interventions
recognise the importance of good mental health and be able to nurture children
have an understanding of and commitment to the principles and practices of Equal Opportunities and inclusivity
be self-motivated and demonstrate initiative
be friendly, approachable and have a good sense of humour
have excellent English, maths and communication skills, both orally and written
