The children, staff and governing board at Didsbury Road Primary School are seeking to appoint an exceptional and inspirational Deputy Headteacher.
Working closely with the Headteacher, the Deputy Headteacher will:
Provide strategic leadership and play a key role in shaping the vision and direction of the school.
Lead on teaching, learning and assessment to ensure the highest standards across the school.
Champion inclusive practice and provision for pupils with SEND and disadvantaged pupils.
Contribute to safeguarding, behaviour and the personal development of pupils.
Support and develop colleagues through high quality CPD.
Be a visible and positive presence for pupils, colleagues, parents and carers.

Is child centred and committed to excellent outcomes for all children including pupils with SEND.
Has a successful track record of raising achievement across the primary curriculum.
Is experienced in managing safeguarding at a leadership level.
Has high emotional intelligence and can inspire and support colleagues.
Has excellent knowledge of inclusive practice and experience of supporting children with varying needs.
Is resilient, solution focused and able to meet the challenges of school leadership.
Will play a key role in leading our school vision and values.
Builds strong relationships with pupils, colleagues, families and the wider school community

Salary range: L13 to L17
Teaching commitment: No whole class teaching responsibility. However, PPA and supply cover may be required when necessary.
