Summary


The post holder will have clinical sessions at the Primary Care Centre, Turner Road and Clacton Hospital.

This post offers an exciting opportunity for clinical and surgical fellowship for the period of one year (with the possibility to extend for another year), offering intensive supervised and independent operating in most aspects of oculoplastics & lacrimal & cataract surgery.

The post will offer exposure to a broad range of medical and surgical management of oculoplastics, lacrimal and orbital patients. The post-holder will work closely with our consultant oculoplastic surgeon, offering considerable surgical training opportunities including complex eyelid reconstruction, external dacryocystorhinostomy (DCR) and cataract surgery. The post holder will attend skin cancer and head & neck MDTs.

The post-holder will be eventually expected to perform independent oculoplastics surgical lists, and may need to cover femto-second laser cataract lists.
