Summary
The role
This role will suit a regular gifts fundraising professional who is motivated to bring in gifts to support outstanding education, research, and student opportunity. Reporting to the Deputy Development Director, you will join a dynamic Development Office team comprised of six other members.
What you will be doing
Responsibility for the Alumni Fund, regular giving and associated projects
Operational administration and delivery of key areas such as legacies, and special interest groups
Building trusted relationships with alumni and donors
Strengthening stewardship and gift recognition practices
Collating information to build presentations and philanthropic cases for support.
Enriching alumni engagement through well documented interactions into and out of our CRM (Raiser’s Edge NXT)
Working closely with academics and professional colleagues
Contributing to a collaborative and supportive team culture
What we are looking for
This role is suitable for candidates who can demonstrate:
Regular giving and general fundraising experience
Telephone campaign and/or Giving Day experience
Strong data preparation and analysis skills.
Query reporting and information presentation skills.
Organisation skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver to deadlines under pressure.
Attention to detail, delivery focused
Experience in higher education is welcome but not essential. What matters is your ability to deliver regular giving fundraising with care and integrity.
