Summary
SIA Event Security (Temporary)
Location: Royal Armouries, Leeds
Salary: £15.71 per hour (paid weekly)
Contract: Zero-hour contract, Temporary FTC 29.04.26 – 29.05.26
Join our dedicated security team at the Royal Armouries this May! We\\'re looking for confident, professional SIA‑licensed Security Officers to help deliver safe, smooth and secure large‑scale events at one of Leeds’ most high‑profile venues.

Key Responsibilities:
As SIA Event Security, you will be responsible for:
- General security of the site, ensuring safe operations at all times
- Traffic marshalling and vehicle movement coordination
- Door duties and access control
- Monitoring event areas and reporting any concerns
- Supporting crowd management and queue control
- Providing excellent customer service
- Responding to incidents calmly and professionally
- Working closely with the event management and security teams
Shift Options:
We offer a variety of shifts across our events, including:
- Weekday and weekend work
- Day, evening, and night shifts
- Hours varying depending on event schedules
Flexibility is essential as events can be busy and fast‑paced.
Who We’re Looking For:
- Valid SIA Door Supervisor licence essential
- Experience in a similar job role
- Aged 18 and above
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Calm, confident, and professional in busy environments
- Smart and presentable portraying a professional image
- Reliable, punctual, and proactive
- Team‑focused with a positive attitude
