Summary

We're looking for a Premises Officer to join our Lewisham PFI Schools team based in Lewisham.

Location: Lewisham, London Hours: 40 hours per week

We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role

As a Premises Officer, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal functioning and safety of our school environment. You'll be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and functionality while creating a welcoming atmosphere for staff and students alike. We value your attention to detail and caring approach to maintaining our educational spaces.

What will you be responsible for?As a Premises Officer, you'll be working within the Premises team, supporting them in maintaining safe and functional educational environments. Your day to day will include:

-Performing regular quality checks and maintenance of buildings, fixtures, and furniture to ensure a comfortable learning environment

-Addressing safety concerns promptly and conducting routine safety inspections

-Handling minor repairs and coordinating with external contractors for larger issues

-Ensuring the security of the premises through regular patrols and proper access management

-Supporting school staff with practical tasks such as furniture moving and classroom set-ups
