Summary

We're looking for a Premises Officer to join our Lewisham PFI Schools team based in Lewisham.

Location: Lewisham - remote working available, with occasional travel to the office required.Hours: 40 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

As a Premises Officer, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our school environments are safe, well-maintained and welcoming. You'll be responsible for day-to-day maintenance, safety checks and security, working collaboratively with school staff and external contractors to create an optimal learning environment. What will you be responsible for?As a Premises Officer, you'll be working within the Lewisham PFI Schools team, supporting them in maintaining safe and functional educational environments. Your day to day will include:

-Conducting proactive inspections and quality checks of the premises to ensure high standards of safety and functionality

-Performing minor repairs and coordinating with external contractors for more complex maintenance issues

-Ensuring building security through regular patrols, monitoring access points, and following safety protocols

-Supporting school activities through furniture arrangement, equipment setup, and general porterage duties

-Responding quickly to facilities emergencies and implementing appropriate safety measures
