Teaching Assistant - The Role
This school is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team supporting pupils with additional needs. For this Teaching Assistant role, the school would ideally like someone with previous healthcare experience such as working in care homes, hospitals, or supporting individuals with physical or complex needs. The successful Teaching Assistant will support pupils with personal care, mobility, and communication needs while also assisting the teacher with classroom activities and learning support. The Teaching Assistant will work with pupils both on a 1 to 1 basis and in small groups to ensure they receive the support needed to access the curriculum. This is a long-term role starting ASAP with the potential to become a permanent position within the school.
