Work Type: Part Time, TTO - Term Time OnlyTotal Hours of Work & work pattern: Teaching Assistant,15hr working hours Monday to Friday 9am – 12pm. The successful candidate will initially be based in Key Stage Two. Lunch Break Supervisor, 5 hrs 12pm – 1pm.Factor (Include for Support Staff, TTO): 44.85 No. of Weeks Worked per Year: 39Teaching Assistant Grade: Hay 10, Main/Upper £22,467 - £38,250 Lunch Break Supervisor Grade: Hay 13 FTE £24,796, (Salary Range: £26,824 - £28,142)We are looking for someone who:• Has a good standard of education (GCSEs - English and Maths C or above) or equivalent.
• Is a natural communicator with the ability to relate well to both children and adults with a high level of verbal and written communication standards.
• Has the ability to work collaboratively and constructively as part of a team.
• Has the ability to prioritise tasks on a day-to-day basis.
• Has experience of working with children.
Additional opportunities: We are also looking for the successful applicant to have a willingness to train as an Emotional Literacy Support Assistant (ELSA), which will be fully funded by the school. On successful completion of the ELSA Award there will be the potential for an additional role as part of our therapeutic and pastoral team which will involve working with children 1:1 in the afternoons.
Visits to the school are fully encouraged.
