More detail about the role An exciting opportunity has arisen for someone motivated and compassionate to join our dedicated Pulmonary Rehabilitation Physiotherapy team at the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, working across Exeter, mid and east Devon. We have a permanent, 22.5 hours/week Senior Clinical Support Worker (Physiotherapy) position available. This role involves providing a range of therapeutic interventions, treatments and class-based exercise programmes to patients and liaising with patients and family / carers in the delivery of Pulmonary Rehabilitation. The post-holder will be expected to identify and support the physical limitations of a patients disability and their functional problems to support the therapy team to deliver early routine assessments and rehabilitation. There will be a requirement to develop strong links with the multidisciplinary teams working in the acute and community settings. The caseload will be patients with chronic, long-term respiratory conditions who will be engaging in exercise to better control their symptoms. Due to the nature of this role it is not considered a developmental role and is not suitable for a Band 2 Clinical Support Worker. Pay: The salary advertised for this position reflects the Agenda for Change 2026-7 rates, inclusive of a 3.3% pay award implemented from April 2026.
