Summary
Job Summary:
Help establish a new creche within our inclusive Luxury spa, located in Hertfordshire. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Assistant to support our childcare team. The ideal candidate will assist in creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children, ensuring their developmental needs are met. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to early childhood education and gain valuable experience in childcare management.
Duties:
Lead in daily activities and programme planning
Supervise children during play, meal times, and rest periods
Assist with organising educational activities and age-appropriate games
Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to health and safety standards
Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members
Help with administrative tasks such as record keeping and scheduling
Support behavioural management strategies in line with organisational policies
Manage booking schedule for the children
Requirements:
Experience with children, childcare, nursery work, or early childhood education is highly desirable
Strong management and leadership skills to guide and support children effectively
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
Passion for working with children and fostering their development
Organised, responsible, and attentive to detail
Desired Skills:
- EYFS and Safeguarding knowledge
- Experience in setting up Creches
- Pediatric First Air qualified
