Reablement - Empowering Independence
We are recruiting an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our Reablement Team in the south of Wiltshire.
This is a therapist led service focused on preventing, reducing and delaying the need for long-term support. Our aim is to help people regain independence, confidence and control in their daily lives.
You will play a leading role in shaping how people move forward after illness, injury or a change in circumstances. Through strengths-based assessments, creative goal setting and personalised reablement plans, you will support individuals to build on their own skills, make use of community resources and achieve outcomes that matter to them.
As an Advanced Occupational Therapist, you will manage a varied caseload, including complex situations where clear professional judgement, positive risk taking and sensitive communication are essential. You will bring practice leadership to the team, offering guidance, supervision and expert advice to colleagues. You will support high quality, evidence informed practice, oversee complex moving and handling assessments, and provide specialist input on adaptations, equipment and home accessibility.
Collaboration is central to our work, and you will build strong relationships across health, social care and the voluntary sector.
To join our team, you will need a professional OT qualification, HCPC registration, at least three years’ post qualification experience, strong knowledge of legislation, and a full UK driving licence.
If you want to help people in Wiltshire rebuild their independence and shape a service that truly makes a difference, we would love to hear from you.
