Summary
About the Role:
Prospero Teaching are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional needs in a welcoming primary school in Rock Ferry. This is a full-time position, working closely with children who require extra support to access learning and reach their full potential.
The role will involve supporting pupils with a range of needs including Autism (ASD), ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs. You will work both on a 1:1 basis and in small group settings, helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Support pupils with EHCPs and individual learning plans

Work collaboratively with the class teacher and SENCO

Monitor and record pupil progress

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Experience working with children with SEND (school or alternative provision experience preferred)

Strong behaviour management skills

A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential)
