About the role:
The Food Technology Teacher will join the Design and Technology department to deliver hands-on, skill-focused sessions that engage students and promote confidence in food preparation and nutrition. With no planning or marking required, the teacher can fully focus on high-quality delivery and ensuring strong practical outcomes.
We're looking for a dedicated candidate to:
- Deliver engaging practical food technology lessons
- Model safe and effective kitchen skills
- Support students in developing confidence and independence
- Contribute positively to the ethos and values
Requirements -
The ideal candidate would have:
- Previous industry experience in food, catering or hospitality
- Strong practical expertise and subject knowledge
- Good classroom management and communication skills
- A commitment to supporting student progress and wellbeing
