About the role:
You will work 1 to 1 with a KS3 learner who requires adapted teaching, emotional regulation support and structured routines. The role includes curriculum adaptation, behaviour support and close collaboration with SEN staff and families.
We're looking for a dedicated candidate to:
- Provide individualised teaching tailored to KS2 level
- Support learning, engagement and daily routines
- Use clear communication and structured approaches
- Assist with emotional regulation and behaviour
- Work collaboratively with SENCO, teachers and parents
- Maintain a safe, supportive learning environment
Requirements -
The ideal candidate would have:
- Experience teaching students with complex needs
- Background supporting learners with Downs Syndrome, ASD or developmental delays
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Ability to plan adapted lessons and use visual supports
- Experience working within a mainstream or SEN setting
- A commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education
