The role: We are looking for a proactive and highly organised IT Deployment & Project Support Officer to support the delivery of national IT rollout projects. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys coordination, travel, problem-solving, and seeing projects delivered successfully on the ground.
Key Responsibilities:
You will support multiple project workstreams, helping ensure that deployments run smoothly and on schedule.
Project Support & Coordination
Assist in planning and execution of IT project delivery
Maintain project documentation including plans, risk logs, budgets, and reports
Coordinate activities across internal teams and third-party suppliers
Track progress and escalate issues where required
Deployment & Logistics
Coordinate ordering, delivery, and tracking of IT hardware
Support national rollout activities across care homes
Assist with asset management and deployment records
Help prepare equipment for deployment when required
Technical & Configuration Support
Support telephony configuration changes (e.g., IVR updates)
Assist with printer and photocopier deployments
Provide hands-on support with PC and smartphone imaging during busy rollout periods
Stakeholder Engagement
Liaise with care home teams, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
Provide clear communication via phone, email, and Microsoft Teams
Help ensure deployments cause minimal disruption to care operations
Travel Requirements involves regular travel across the UK
Be comfortable driving a minibus when required
Be willing to travel frequently and stay overnight
What We're Looking For:
Experience supporting IT deployments or projects
Experience working with service desk systems
Basic understanding of IT concepts
Full UK Driving licence
