Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) – Ilford

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, diagnose, and manage a wide range of acute and chronic conditions.

Develop and implement individualized treatment and management plans.

Prescribe medications within the ANP scope of practice, adhering to best practice and safety standards.

Provide high-quality, evidence-based patient care in line with clinical guidelines.

Participate actively in the practice’s teaching and training programs, including mentoring junior staff and nursing students.

Contribute to ongoing professional development sessions, workshops, and clinical audits.

Collaborate with GPs, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care.

Promote patient education and self-management strategies to support better health outcomes.

Support service development initiatives and quality improvement projects.

Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure compliance with governance and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:

Registered Nurse with relevant Advanced Nurse Practitioner qualifications.

Proven experience in primary care, community, or relevant healthcare settings.

Strong clinical decision-making, diagnostic, and patient management skills.

Experience in teaching, mentoring, or supervising staff or students is highly desirable.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
