About the Role

We are looking for an organised, confident, and hands-on Catering Supervisor to join our team inNorfolk, NR35 1NT.

As Catering Supervisor, you will support the planning, coordination, anddelivery of catering services, ensuring that standards are consistently met andmaintained. You will play a key role in overseeing daily operations, supportingstaff, and helping to ensure excellent service for customers and clients.

You will workclosely with the Site Lead to help grow services, manage budgets effectively,and maintain strong relationships with clients, while ensuring compliance withall company and statutory standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily catering operations, ensuring high standards of food quality, presentation, hygiene, and service.
  • Support the planning, production, ordering, and delivery of food and supplies.
  • Ensure service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs) are achieved and maintained.
  • Monitor stock levels, wastage, transactions, and financial records in line with budget requirements.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, compliance records, and due diligence paperwork.
  • Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety, food safety, fire safety, and COSHH regulations.
  • Support, train, motivate, and supervise team members to promote positive working relationships.
  • Assist with recruitment, induction, training, and performance reviews where required.
  • Maintain excellent communication with clients, customers, and management.
  • Respond professionally to feedback, resolving complaints where possible.
  • Identify opportunities to improve services and support business growth.
  • Ensure equipment is safe, well maintained, and faults are reported promptly.
  • Support other areas of the operation when needed, working flexibly to meet business requirements.


What We Are Looking For

Essential:

  • Experience in a similar supervisory role within catering, hospitality, or the service industry.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Good numerical ability and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety and food safety standards.
  • Experience in stock control, cash handling, and customer service.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Desirable:

  • IOSH qualification or equivalent.
  • Experience managing client relationships.
  • Proven experience leading and developing a team.
