Join our dynamic team at the University of Plymouth’s Faculty of Health, where you can play a vital role in supporting our mission to address today’s most pressing healthcare challenges. As part of the Peninsula Medical School, one of England’s top medical schools, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to the development of future healthcare professionals in a progressive and cutting-edge environment.
About the role
Your work pattern will be 8.30am - 4.30pm Monday-Thursday and 8.30am - 4.00pm on Friday, which are the office opening hours.
As our Assistant Administrator, you will work under the direction of the Programme Administrator and as a member of the team, you will contribute to the delivery of a customer focused, cost effective and efficient administrative support service.
We're looking for candidates with previous experience in a receptionist or administrative assistant role, although it's not mandatory. Excellent communication skills paired with a friendly and professional demeanor are essential to the success in this position. Strong organisational abilities, coupled with the capacity to multitask and prioritise effectively are key. Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, are required. You should be comfortable working both independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively as part of a team. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment will be key attributes for this role.
Due to the nature of the role, unfortunately we are unable to accommodate working from home.
