Summary
Early Years Practitioner - Bank Staff
Pickles Preschool is looking for some fantastic candidates to join their Bank Staff register which may lead to a permanent position in the future.
We are located within The Quayside Youth Centre. We enjoy an exciting indoor environment and are lucky enough to have a lovely outdoor area too. This established preschool looks after children aged from 18 months-5 years for 38 weeks of the year.
The successful candidates will be working with children aged 18months to 5 years old in highly inclusive, caring and stimulating environments valuing safeguarding at their core. They will be well motivated, have great communication skills and demonstrate the ability to work well within a team.
Duties will include -
Supporting children's development through play and learning
Caring for children
Assisting in the daily running of the setting
Maintaining the environment
Helping to keep children safe and adhering to our solid safeguarding measures
Working between Monday to Friday - term time only
Working hours are flexible and irregular providing a great opportunity to fit around your current commitments and can be discussed at interview.
An NVQ level 2 in Early Years is desireable although not essential and the role will be subject to an enhanced DBS check and relevant references.
